If selected to be part of the team that writes live entertainment shows, events, and projects, you will report to the Manager of Creative Development Resources.
This is a full-time 6-month internship (dates are June 14, 2025, through January 3, 2026).
What You Will Do
Collaborate with and support the Music Production Team by supporting the production of music resources for live shows including parades, stage shows, and special events on and off the Disney property and onboard the Disney Cruise Line, and other Disney Park sites.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Researching and compiling music assets to be used in the creative process Participating in brainstorming sessionsMusic file preparation, duplication, documentation, and storageAssist in venue mixesAssist in voiceovers and instrumental recording sessionsSupporting music producers with all aspects of music productionRequired Qualifications & Skills
Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in music production and recording processesFamiliarity with current trends in the music, entertainment, and industry.Proficiency with music production softwareAbility to read musicUnderstanding of both the artistic aspect and business practices within the music industryPreferred Qualifications
Experience as a musicianFamiliarity with the Disney brand, stories, lore, and musicEarning or completing MFA in a Music Business or Music Production-related fieldEducation
Currently enrolled as a junior, senior, or graduate-level student pursuing a degree in Music, Music Production, or Music BusinessEligibility Requirements & Program Information
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationHave not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College ProgramBe compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelinesFully available Sunday through Saturday, for the duration of the internship, 40 hours per weekAble to provide/have reliable transportation to/from workPossess a valid US driver’s license and have the ability to operate a company vehicleAble to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internshipAble to provide own housing for the duration of internship program in FloridaWe provide limited housing opportunities for Florida Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities, for more information click hereThe pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $ 18.75 per hour.
