ZEISS is a world leading Optics Company and we are seeking a new employee to join our Dispatch team in our Tonsley based operation. Reporting to the Production Manager, your primary role will be responsible for ensuring the correct delivery of items to customers by verifying orders, inventorying stock and arranging transportation preparing customs documentation.

Associated duties include, but are not limited to:

Receiving and dispatching of daily ordersSorting completed spectacle orders into consolidated customer daily consignments, preparing necessary consignment documentation.Picking and dispatching of pair by pair or bulk Finished Single Vision (FSV) lens ordersPicking of pair by pair FSV orders in preparation of CE&F processingPicking and dispatching of Lens Accessory orders such as lens wipes or anti fogPicking and dispatching of POS marketing materials when requiredMaintenance of dispatch related consumables

Key requirements:
 

1-2 years working experience in a team environmentWillingness to learn new skills, ability to cross train into various related tasks and work well and contribute to a team environmentA process driven individual who is organised, has attention to detail, excellent administration and time keeping skills, willingness to be flexible with working hours, ability to prioritise and be flexible often dealing with ad-hoc queries from customersProficient computer skillsEffective listening and verbal communication expertise
