Dispatch Coordinator

THE OPPORTUNITY 

We are searching for 2 extremely motivated Dispatch Coordinators to join our high performing Service Management Centre (SMC) team! Supporting the Powerco contract, you will be the first point of contact for field staff, customers and members of the public. You will be responsible for providing effective and timely customer solutions including the dispatching of client faults to field-based employees. 

Please note, we are a 24/7 centre and therefore there is a requirement to do shift work. Fortnightly rotating rostered shifts; 12-hour day shifts (6:30am-6:30pm), 12-hour night shifts (6:30pm-6:30am) and the flexibility of 7:00am-3:30pm for the right candidate.

This is a full-time fixed term opportunity with a contract end date of 30th June 2025.

ABOUT YOU

This opportunity would suit a fast learner, team player and customer-oriented individual seeking to advance their career within an essential service industry. The successful candidate will preferably have experience in a similar customer service-based role. 

We are interested in hearing from those that hold the below: 

A background in customer service or dispatching within a fast-paced environment.  Willingness and ability to participate in the shift work roster mentioned above.  An empathetic nature, allowing you to openly talk to field staff and conduct welfare checks. Ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner, whilst providing a high level of service.  The desire and ability to work within a team environment. Our team support each other when it comes to assistance, training and guidance.
