**Description:**
Join Jensen Precast as a Dispatch Coordinator. The position primarily assists and supports management in all activities related to dispatch administration and customer service. The Dispatch Coordinator creates purchase requisitions, communicates with customers regarding the scheduling and delivery of their products and supports the Transportation Management Group.
**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
Supporting transportation and dispatch in the following administrative functions:
+ Supports dispatch in the confirmation of deliveries and communications with our customers.
+ Compiles, maintains and distributes paperwork for company drivers and outside carriers at their home terminal.
+ Compiles and maintains receipts for driver expense reports. Completes driver expense reports in Concur and submits them for approval.
+ Ensures drivers have safety PPE available upon request and for all new hires.
+ Manages drivers credit cards, fuel cards, electronic devices (tablet) - Samsara, and verifies that drivers are logged in daily and completing their DVIR's and e-logs.
+ Provides administrative and tablet training to new drivers.
+ Dispatches as a back up when the Dispatcher is off of work.
+ Converts purchase requisitions to purchase orders and emails outside carriers.
+ Checks on reservations for products to be delivered and works closely with sales and inventory when products are not reserved.
**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
+ 2+ years working in an administrative role in transportation or in distribution industry.
+ Familiarity with DOT requirements
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office (Email, spreadsheets, and word processor)
+ Strong communication skills to include verbal and written.
+ Strong organizational and task management skills

**Qualifications**
**Position Requirements**
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated administrative experience. Other desired qualifications include:
+ Preferred Education: Associate's Degree
+ Preferred Experience: Between 2 and 5 years
+ Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
+ Experience in a manufacturing, construction, or engineering environment a plus.
+ Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
+ Knowledge of accounting or inventory control a plus.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word Processor)
+ Strong organizational and task management skills.
