The Security Dispatcher is responsible for communication between the casino and security officers. The dispatcher is essentially the “go-to person” for the entire facility, communication hub, help desk and general receptionist for back-of-the-house. Contact comes via radio, telephone, window access and walk-in. This position involves a high level of guest contact and customer service.

Schedule:
Wind Creek Hospitality Security Teams operate 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Days/shifts are assigned to meet the needs of the organization, and are subject to change to meet the needs of the organization. Positions include week-end and holiday shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities:

High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment- required Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older- required One (1) year experience in law enforcement, corrections or other security DISPATCH capacity- preferred Experienced and proficient user in Microsoft Word; a skills test will be administered and candidate must achieve at least 70% skills pass rate- required Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; a skills test will be administered and candidate must achieve at least 70% skills pass rate- required All candidates are required to participate in a panel interview. Additionally, all candidates may be asked demonstrate required skills by participating in a realistic job preview which consists of prepared scenarios and role-play. The panel of interviewers will observe all candidates during their role-play- required Security based auditions will be based on a Security incident (verbal skill test) and followed by a requirement that the applicant submit a written report on what just transpired in the scenario (written skill test) candidate must achieve at least 70% skills pass rate - required Experience in customer relations or guest services Must complete/pass TIPS and Title#31 training as a condition of employment Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environmentNATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES
