Description We're seeking a Dispatcher to join our client's team in the Edison, NJ area to optimize dispatch operations. This role involves close collaboration with the warehouse and truckers to ensure efficient shipments. Key Responsibilities: + Work closely with the warehouse team and truckers to ensure smooth operations. + Manage all shipment dispatching and coordinate with drivers. + Use Excel for data management and tracking until the new ERP system is implemented. + Oversee multiple tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in dispatching. + Monitor and manage customer accounts, addressing issues as needed. + Resolve customer inquiries and process applications accurately. + Maintain up-to-date customer credit records. Requirements Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Proven experience in dispatching with strong knowledge of routes and locations. + Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills. + Strong verbal and written communication abilities. + Critical thinking and sound judgment in fast-paced environments. + Proficient in MS Office and dispatching software. + Flexible with shift work.
