This position requires in person training in our Baldwin Park, CA office. Ideally, candidate will live within a commutable distance to Baldwin Park, CA for occasional staff meetings and IT upgrades onsite. Due to the fast paced environment and working within multiple applications, dispatcher candidates must be able to type 55+ wpm. Dispatcher candidates must have prior experience working with driver routes, assigning, managing, and determining route actions for drivers.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9:00am-6:00pm or 9:30am-6:30pm, some Saturdays as needed on a rotational basis

A. Education/Experience
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D (accredited). Experience: Six (6) months of relevant work experience with working in a team setting, with the ability to communicate to several areas effectively. Multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment with excellent organizational skills.B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
None required.C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
Computer skills with ability to handle multiple programs and systems. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally via e-mail, telephone, and 2-way devices. Must have the desire and ability to learn Waste Management proprietary software applications.V. Work Environment

The expected salary range for this position is $19.22 to $26.42 per hour. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.
