Overview:

We are currently hiring for a 3rd shift Dispatcher opportunity in Newport News, VA. A Security Guard could also work for this position.

Description:

Provides security protection by utilizing and monitoring the organization's building automation system, electronic surveillance systems and other monitoring devices. Utilizes and maintains electronic surveillance and detection systems through security console operations to include; Security, Fire Access Control, HVAC, and executive support. Based on console indications or event(s), identifies, initiates and coordinates appropriate response/notification based on security guidelines.

Qualifications:

High school diploma.Must be eligible for a secret clearance. (Preference is already having an active clearance)High sense of urgency is required for proper disposition of emergency services.Prior emergency services experience is preferred (Military, Law Enforcement, Emergency Dispatch).Expert ability to multitask and being an acute listener is a must.High level of attention to detail and procedure following.

3rd shift position.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10pm - 6am. 12+ month contract opportunity.Weekly pay check.Benefits offered.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
