Description We are in search of a Dispatcher to join our team in the Transport industry, based in Chester, Virginia. This role involves coordinating logistics, handling dispatch tasks, and providing excellent customer service. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Coordinating logistics and dispatch operations effectively • Providing strong customer service to both internal and external stakeholders • Utilizing skills in Microsoft Excel to manage tasks and data • Independently improving processes and procedures for enhanced efficiency • Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth operations • Handling inbound calls, providing timely and accurate responses • Utilizing a range of computer programs and management systems, including IBM AS/400, ADP - Financial Services, About Time, and TruckMate TMS • Managing billing functions and maintaining accurate records • Demonstrating excellent communication skills in all interactions • Ensuring the effective use of CRM tools for customer relationship management.
