Description Robert Half is offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a skilled Dispatcher in Princeton, IN. The Dispatcher role will require the individual to operate in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. The industry of operation is in transportation, specifically focusing on logistics and load management. The hours for the Dispatcher are Mon-Fri: 3pm-12a with the occasional Saturday overtime required. Responsibilities of the Dispatcher: • Efficiently manage and handle incoming calls and inquiries • Operate various computer programs and internal systems for effective dispatching • Use MS Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook for task execution • Communicate effectively with drivers and other staff • Employ customer service skills to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction • Manage and monitor load management systems for optimal operations Requirements • Proficiency in computer programs related to dispatching and logistics • Ability to efficiently handle answering inbound calls in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Prior experience in dispatching or relevant field is preferred • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively • Familiarity with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Outstanding customer service skills, with a focus on resolving issues efficiently and effective TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
