As s dispatcher/technical customer service representative, the ideal candidate would be responsible for scheduling and coordinating deliveries, communication with drivers and customers, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. This role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Highlights of the position: + Schedule and dispatch drivers for deliveries and pick ups, optimizing routes for efficiency. + Communicate with drivers throughout the day to ensure smooth operations and address any issues. + Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, resolving delivery concerns, and updating customers on delivery status. + Maintain accurate records of driver schedules, deliveries, and service logs. + Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure fleet readiness. + Collaborate with warehouse staff to confirm order accuracy and readiness for dispatch. + Handle unexpected delays, reroutes, or emergency situations promptly and effectively. Requirements + Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, customer service or a related field preferred. + Strong communication and problem solving skills + Proficiency in dispatching software, and Microsoft office. + Knowledge of DOT regulations. + Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. + Must be 18 years old. + CDL License a plus.
