THE JOB:
As a Room Service Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and timely room service delivery to our guests. You will be responsible for managing and distributing orders, collaborating with food servers, and maintaining exceptional guest service throughout each shift. Your ability to stay organized and communicate clearly with both guests and the service team will set the stage for a flawless in-room dining experience.

THE STARTING PAY: $21.172

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Receive and distribute room service orders to Food Servers evenly and efficiently using Micros and other technology.Answer guest phone calls professionally, ensuring all questions are answered and that delivery times are communicated clearly.Log and track all orders, assigning them to servers, ensuring that every order is delivered promptly and accurately.Handle guest requests for expedited service due to emergencies, offering exceptional and timely assistance.Maintain excellent communication with Food Servers, Runners, Buspersons, and other team members to ensure smooth service.Follow all safety and sanitation standards in the work area.Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar food and beverage role within the hospitality field.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.A professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and the ability to handle difficult requests with ease.Comfortable working an on-call schedule, including all shifts.Enthusiastic about creating positive guest experiences and collaborating with the team to achieve service excellence.
