Night Shift, including possible weekends. Primary Duties: + Dispatch drivers. + Maintain and confirm schedules. + Collect and maintain paperwork. + Oversee on-time dispatch requirements. + Work with local and state law enforcement agencies to ensure that they have everything they need. + Track driver pickups throughout the workday. + Ensure paperwork is complete prior to dispatch and upon return. + Follow up to ensure accurate communication with internal and external staff members. + Anticipate potential problems and create contingency plans. + Able to multitask in a loud, fast paced, high call volume environment with frequent interruptions. + Able to learn software for data entry and reports and follow instruction. + Follows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies. + Able to effectively perform responsibilities under a high level of stress. + Regular interaction with peers on-site, including face-to-face meetings and spontaneous conferences. + Must be flexible and available to work afternoons and weekends. + Good interpersonal and communications skills with a calm demeanor towards customers and co-workers. + Regular and reliable attendance and presence at work. + Operate in a constate state of alertness and safe manner. + Perform any duties as may be assigned. Qualifications/Experience/Education: + High School graduate or equivalent. + 2+ years of dispatch experience preferred. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel for data entry. + Must have attention to detail, planning and organizational skills. + Strong communication skills - verbal and written. + Proficient in GPS tracking programs. + Good knowledge of vehicles and local geography. + Able to pass 7-year criminal background check.
