Job details Spherion Staffing is looking for a detail-oriented dispatcher to dispatch our drivers to customer locations. In this role, your duties will include communicating with our customers to record their requirements, planning and adjusting routes, as well as scheduling drivers to deliver or collect freight shipments.

Shift: Monday-Saturday 12am-8am ...
Responsibilities:
Scheduling deliveries and monitoring daily results
Prioritize time sensitive cargo
Notify drivers of pick-up and delivery assignments
Dispatch drivers for shipment pick-ups and deliveries
Responsible to meet on-time performance
Update shipment tracking system and maintain timely data integrity
Attendance whenever needed and availability
Knowledge of DOT and Safety Regulations
Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
Effective listening and strong communication skills for interaction with drivers, customers, and Company staff
Knowledge of Multi-state geography

Working hours: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM

Experience:

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in customer services, as well as generating freight bills and invoices.
