Dispensing Technician - Auto 1
This is a 1st Shift position, hours are Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30 pm. JOB OBJECTIVE: To assist in the packing, filling and/or labeling of various product components with automated product finishing equipment. CORE DUTIES: 1. Locate and collect components needed for product assembly. 2. Setup and operation of the automated product finishing equipment. 3. Operate all equipment in accordance with department safety and quality guidelines. 4. Accurate documentation of processes using production paperwork and computer data entry. 5. Cleaning and basic troubleshooting of automated product finishing equipment. 6. Assist in inventory reconciliation and annual deep clean and cycle count events. 7. Cross train in all production work areas that correspond to the Level 1 Product Finishing Career Grid. 8. Understands and complies with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School diploma or proven work experience that ensures you are ready to be successful in this role. 2. Competency in general math. 3. Good organizational and prioritization skills. 4. General computer knowledge. 5. Ability to work in a team environment. 6. Able to work quickly and accurately. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Prior experience in the operation of several types of filling and packaging equipment in a production environment. 2. Strong mechanical aptitude. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 1. Ability to work in a clean room environment. 2. Ability to use a computer/Microsoft Office applications 3. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, lab coat, etc.). 4. Ability to occasionally move, lift and lower objects weighing up to 75 lbs. 5. Ability to move up to 300 lbs. on a dolly and 500 lbs. on a pallet jack occasionally. 6. Ability to stand and/or sit for several hours at a time. 7. Ability to bend multiple times per day. 8. Ability to use hands for repetitive motions throughout shift. 9. Ability to work in -20 degrees C temperature occasionally. 10. Visual acuity for quality inspections.
