Job Description + The Distillation Technician is responsible for overseeing multiple distillation processes while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations. + This role involves monitoring process parameters, conducting tests, and maintaining product quality. + The technician will also participate in plant safety programs, maintain production logs, and collaborate with lab analysis to drive continuous improvement. + Oversee the operation of multiple distillation processes and equipment functions. + Participate in plant safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and adherence to safety and environmental regulations. + Uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance by ensuring all operations adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies, while fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. + Monitor and control process parameters to meet product specifications, analyzing system controls, log sheets, and lab reports. + Perform tests at various production stages, including Gas Chromatography, moisture, non-volatile residue, and color analysis on both pre-feed and finished products. + Optimize equipment operation to maximize efficiency, yields, and minimize waste. + Collect product samples at various stages for lab analysis. + Maintain production logs and reports, documenting production levels, maintenance needs, and related information. + Contribute to plant safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Requirements + Experience working with distillation equipment for 1 year. + Experience working with temperature, pressure, and flow monitoring + Ability to work in an outdoor environment + Experience working in an industrial setting for 1 year. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
