GEICO is seeking an experienced Finance Data Architect to provide expertise and guidance in supporting the build out of a Finance data lake/mart. This individual must have strong functional and technical Finance Systems background to partner with the Business to have effective discussions to drive the capture, transformation, and utilization of Finance data to meet Business goals.
The DE must have the ability to provide leadership and coaching to business teams and technologists by guiding, planning, and partnering at various levels. The DE will partner with the engineering teams in the establishment and implementation of new or revised systems and programs.
The Finance Data Solution Architect is required to have extensive Financial Systems expertise and a broad background in ERP and Finance warehouses. The position will report to the Senior Director of Finance Technologies. The individual contributor is expected to provide solutions, on how to build out, maintain, and support a Finance Data repository to support FP&A processing and analytics while also supporting the larger Finance function’s need for Finance data. The DE will work with multiple Finance and Technology leaders to set the strategy for building out the company’s Finance Data Mart/Lake to provide a central repository for all Financial related transactions so it can be a reconciled source of truth for processing and the source for Revenue and Expense analytics.
The individual will be a key advisor and partner to the Finance Leadership to redesign the way they use their technologies in managing GEICO’s business. The Finance Data Specialist is also accountable to support the delivery of technology solutions that will support FP&A Planning/Budgeting, financial reporting, Revenue/Expense Analytics, and the build out of the Finance Data Mart to become a reconciled source to allow the GL to become a “thin” ledger. Prior Financial Services Industry experience is required, with a deep understanding of the functional and technical aspects of multiple ERP systems and data warehouses.

Annual Salary
$150,000.00 - $300,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
