Responsibilities About the Role: We have a strategic focus on globalization of our business. The Distinguished Principal - Originations Domain Architect will be laser-focused on guiding the architectural direction of our account servicing platforms and solutions, leveraging modern technology to deliver superior customer experiences which help to maintain industry-leading customer satisfaction. Reporting Relationship: Reports to: SVP Global Chief Architect Direct Reports: Dotted line to all Solution Architects aligned to originations globally. In this role, you will: Provide significant input into technology strategy and roadmap; keep up to date on key technology trends and their applied use by in financial services with emphasis on loan and customer originations solutions and interact with various business partners (both internal and external) to assist in the design and implementation of business applications leveraging architectural standards. Advise teams of application and solution architects focused on delivery of originations applications and act as a mentor providing guidance to all team members on technical and architectural issues. Participate in the development and maintenance of architectural standards company wide, including patterns, reference architectures, and best practices and ensure adherence to architectural governance routines. Perform other duties as assigned and conform with all company policies and procedures. Possess strong knowledge of IT operations and support organizations and experience with UML Design Tools and advanced technical writing. Have corporate management experience with increasing architectural responsibility in large enterprises. Have experience architecting solutions in multi-cloud/hybrid-cloud environments. Have experience architecting account servicing solutions. Have experience working in a highly regulated business domain such as financial services or health care preferred. Qualifications What makes you a dream candidate? Advanced knowledge writing system and user specifications/documentation Advanced knowledge of software design and modeling, and associated tools Advanced knowledge of current application design patterns (e.g., micro-services, API, etc.) Advanced knowledge of designing applications for global markets Experience: Master’s or bachelor’s degree and two additional years of related experience required 14+ years in related function(s) required. 7-10 years leading through mentorship in related field required. 7-10 years driving thought leadership and innovation across products required.
