About the team:
Reporting into the Head of Distribution, you will ensure a seamless approach to managing and expanding our distribution partnerships. Additionally, you will collaborate regularly with the sales and client delivery teams, participating in team meetings, particularly sales meetings, to align strategies and drive business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop the distribution function while working in a dynamic and cross-functional environment.
About the role:
As Account Manager, you will focus on the Distribution partners that our Insurer and Broker partners use to obtain solutions we provide in the UK & Ireland. The role is one of deep consultation with key decision makers and is tasked with uniquely positioning LexisNexis’ solutions to distribution partners to help obtain and retain current customers and increase market share in a competitive marketplace.
This is a client engagement position, you will help grow and maintain strong working relationships with the distribution partners, as well as own new distribution segments leading to new revenue opportunities. This will be achieved by having good working practices, both internally and externally to help track and develop new opportunities.
You’ll be responsible for:
Build trust and support the client engagement team by taking a consultative approach to advancing sales opportunities and driving revenue.Develop a deep understanding of the distribution partner landscape, their role in the market, and how they align with our strategic pillars.Manage multiple distribution partners, including overseeing contracting, invoicing, and leading external meetings.Demonstrate expertise in LexisNexis products, administrative processes, and company operations to effectively address client inquiries and implement solutions.Regularly interact with internal and external customers to provide thought leadership, industry insights, and best practices.Act as the voice of distribution partners, gathering feedback to help shape product evolution and market strategy.Create and execute effective account plans that drive new business growth, optimize commercial terms, and enhance partner relationships.Collaborate with sales teams on strategic planning and support sales meetings and product presentations as needed.Lead compelling presentations to distribution partners, providing risk insights, analytics, and market expertise.Represent the distribution team in internal product planning sessions, ensuring alignment with business goals.Foster collaboration between product development, analytics, and client engagement teams to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
Strong relationship management and consultative sales skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Proven experience in account management, distribution partnerships, or related roles.Ability to navigate complex operational processes, including contracting and invoicing.Strategic mindset with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.A passion for understanding market trends and leveraging insights to drive business growth.
