POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Distribution Administrator participates in the auto reorder of stocked parts, reconciliation of physical inventory of materials and the daily cycle counting of products. Analyze, recommend, and implement improvements to control the inventory and improve service levels. Control parts and inventory in a secure location. Provide and handle all machine repair parts and all operating supplies to employees requesting them.
Our Distribution Administrator would be working 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM (when not covering vacations) onsite at our New London Plant in New London, WI. Although the pay rate for this role is based on experience, we do offer 1 week Vacation after 6 months of fulltime employment & 2 weeks after 1 year of fulltime employment with 40 hours of Sick Leave at time of hire, Benefits, Medical/Vision/Dental available upon day 1 & the chance to join a great team & start your Career with Tyson Foods!
Responsibilities:
Receiving parts and supplies in.
Auto Reordering of parts.
Enter any parts room issues, return parts, cycle counts taken on your shift.
Filling Kan Ban requests.
Create MRS requests for SAP numbers and updates.
Use engraving machine to make name plates.
Vacation coverage as needed.
Accuracy in data entry and inventory management required.
Transfer project CIR numbers into parts room inventory.
Sending out STO’s, returns and repair shipments from Fed Ex and UPS.
Managing STO’s and updates SAP for STO’s
Compares parts with identifying manufacturing information packing slips, invoices, or other records.
Follow procedures for receiving parts, to receive inbound materials (except meat products).
Unpacks, verifies, matches packing slip to purchase order and enters receipts into the SAP and Coupa systems.
Create labels and bin locations assist putting parts in their bin locations.
Enters “Receiving” into SAP and Coupa Receiving systems, ensuring correct receiving date is reflected. Sends messages to people who need to be advised of receiving and arranges for items to be delivered to them or picked up by them.
General cleaning and organizing of Parts Room
Work on special projects, actively participate in Materials Management team endeavors, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
Previous experience with SAP software is preferred.
Good analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Tow motor licensed is preferred.
Good attendance and punctual.
Good communicator.
Flexibility is a must for this role.
Must reside in the US to be considered, this role does not offer sponsorship.
