The Distribution Associate executes the receiving, storing, picking, staging and distribution of materials required for assembly/manufacture of product, and ensuring the day-to-day work task are completed in an ethical, safe manner. This position is part of the Receiving Department located in Logan/North Logan, UT and will be an onsite position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or forklifts, pick parts/products for shipments ensuring accuracy of identification and quantity, create and/or maintain transactional inventory records, maintain accurate files of packing and shipping activity, and physically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal and external departments + Communicate/notify appropriate personnel of shipping/inventory discrepancies, fill kits and deliver to production as required, maintain stocking/inventory objectives, and quantifies and verifies cycle counts + Comply with EHS and Quality System regulations and policies, and perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned. Aware of and comply with Stop Order, Concessions, ESD, Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Material Identification & Segregation, and Good Documentation Practices, as associated with this job type/position. The essential requirements of the job include: + High school diploma or local equivalent, and have demonstrated ability to communicated (read, write, and speak) in English + Must be capable of passing Department of Transportation’s Health Exam to operate company vehicle routing materials to and from company and outside warehouses + Proficient in basic mathematics and c apable of working in extreme cold conditions (-20 ̊ C/-4 ̊ F) on a regular basis . Must have the ability to communicate well and work with others, perform basic computer skills, the ability to consistently lift up to 75 pounds, and the ability to utilize automated lifting equipment – have forklift certification or ability to become certified It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + 2+ years’ experience in storing and material handling + Previous experience with Oracle and Master Control; Knowledge of computerized material flow methods + Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control; Prior experience using a forklift and weight scales We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
