The primary purpose of this position is to ensure all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and shipped on time in accordance with established procedures. This includes receiving, picking, packaging, and coordinating the activities of third-party warehouses to meet customer requirements. Additional responsibilities include inventory control, record keeping, and reconciliation of transactions. This position will report directly to the Manager of Outbound Logistics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurate and shipped on time by preparing and reviewing packing slips for each order.

Communicate with internal departments (i.e., sales, customer service, finance) to provide updates on order status and expedite requests.

Manage relationships with third-party warehouses to coordinate logistics, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of products.

Maintain inventory records, including stock levels, expiration dates, and product locations.

Reconcile discrepancies between system reports and physical inventory counts.

Generate reports and maintain documentation related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving.

Assist with incoming shipments by verifying delivery tickets against packing slips.

Coordinate returns and exchanges according to established policies and procedures.

Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance overall efficiency within the department.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred but not required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling numbers and data.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Basic understanding of inventory management principles and shipping/receiving processes.

Physical ability to lift boxes up to 50 pounds and perform other warehouse tasks.

Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Willingness to learn new procedures and adapt to changing business needs.
