Job Title: Distribution Attendant Department: Penn Home Infusion Therapy West Warehouse Entity: Penn Medicine at Home Location: Lancaster, PA Hours/Shift:Part time, must be able to work into the evening Summary: Join our dedicated team at Penn Medicine as a Distribution Attendant! In this role, you'll ensure timely delivery and pick-up of essential medical equipment and supplies for our patients. You'll plan the best routes, meet time-sensitive needs, and handle on-call duties to provide exceptional service. Plus, you'll have the use of a company vehicle for all deliveries. Key Responsibilities: + Timely Deliveries: Make prompt equipment and supply deliveries and pick-ups, ensuring all time-sensitive needs are met. + Route Planning: Determine the most efficient routes for deliveries. + Document Handling: Return all signed documents by the next business day. + Patient Satisfaction: Understand and strive to improve patient satisfaction, meeting customer expectations. + Personalized Service: Recognize and adjust to the unique needs of each patient or customer. + Order Fulfillment: Identify and pack the necessary supplies and equipment for patient orders, following company procedures. + Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of pumps, poles, and any returned waste or sharps. + Annual Inventory: Assist with the yearly warehouse inventory alongside the warehouse supervisor and materials manager. + Delivery Verification: Check delivery contents against orders before obtaining patient or caregiver signatures. + Issue Reporting: Promptly report any complaints or issues from patients or caregivers to the warehouse supervisor or on-call administrator. Qualifications: + Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required. + Education: High School Diploma or GED required. + Experience: Training and experience in handling and delivering medical equipment and supplies.
