Distribution Center Maintenance Supervisor

Plan, execute and measure the maintenance processes of the CEDIS electromechanical and mechanical equipment and promote good practices of use adhering to the procedures, standards, routines, and policies of the area to guarantee the continuity of the operation and extend the useful life of the equipment.

Principal functions:

Design, execute, supervise, and measure cleaning plans, predictive and preventive maintenance of electromechanical and mechanical equipment and facility to avoid equipment stoppages (Indicator: mean time between failures). Offer timely technical support to the operational and administrative users of the equipment, follow up on failures or stoppages of the electromechanical equipment to guarantee the continuity of the operation and good use practices (Indicator: end user complaints). Carry out failure reports and follow up on guarantees and corrective maintenance actions to achieve rapid recovery of equipment to minimize downtime (Indicator: average repair time). Manage the inventory of spare parts and equipment consumables (when applicable) to avoid stoppages due to lack of these supplies (Indicator: stoppages due to lack of inventory). Define and promote good use of equipment through dissemination and training programs to avoid practical failures in equipment and premature wear (Indicator: failures due to misuse). Coordinate maintenance, renewal and other programs with suppliers to maximize the useful life of the equipment and minimize maintenance costs (Indicator: savings in maintenance). Plan, coordinate and chair theoretical and practical training sessions for the equipment and configurations that operate in the CEDIS to guarantee the use of the equipment and good use practices (Indicator: user evaluation). Plan, coordinate and carry out continuous improvement actions to avoid stoppages due to failures and maximize the useful life of the equipment (Indicator: improvement in stoppage times). Coordinate, report and supervise the installation processes of mechanical and electromechanical equipment to ensure that they adhere to the specifications and authorized times.            Coordinate and carry out cleaning routines, preventive, and corrective maintenance to the CEDIS equipment and facility (according to the plan). Participate in work meetings. Call and chair information and work sessions to report misuse or encourage good practices in the use of equipment. Participate in performance review meeting (monthly). Present area indicators (weekly). Participate in internal and external training. Prepare and give training. Lead or participate in special projects. Other assignments required based on business needs.
