Hiring Range: $85,000 to $120,000 depending on experience.

Description: 

We are looking for a Distribution Center Manager at our Eldora, IA facility.  You will direct, supervise, and coordinate campus facility oversight as well oversee our repack and seed and chemical warehousing operations in Eldora.  Responsibilities include management of 5-8 staff members, supply chain operations, inventory, distribution, safety, compliance, budgeting/expense management, and other operations due to business demands. You will also be responsible for the oversight of the alarm and security of the facility with vendors and may have to answer alarms at times on-site.

Some weekends may be required occasionally based on business needs.

Requirements: 

Education: High School Diploma/GED Required.Supervisory Experience: 3+ years of experience managing people; participants in the rotational Land O’Lakes leadership programs will be considered (TAP/MMT/DMT). Leadership: 3+ years of experience with operations and/or warehouse management.  Ability to demonstrate successful past leadership in operations, warehouse management, and/or managing personnelTechnology: proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, smartphones, and other hardware/softwareCertifications: Current driver’s license; Commercial Applicator License, Restricted Use Pesticide Sales Persons license if required (or ability to attain by a specific date as agreed with company).  DOT Hazmat, RCRA, SPCC and Hazwoper Certification Training required and provided by the company.

Preferred:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering Sciences, Supply Chain, or related fieldSupervisory Experience: 3 years or more experience managing peopleBudgeting/Forecasting: practical experience with inventory forecasts, collaborating with internal supply chain partners, and/or managing a substantial budgetRegulations/Compliance: practical experience working with DOT regulations, EH&S programs, and other compliance/safety procedures
