Responsibilities Overview As a member of the Corporate Logistics team, this role provides tactical accountability and strategic oversight to Geodis (third-party logistics company) managed warehouse facilities. Responsible for delivering on key performance expectations in safety, operations, customer satisfaction and accountable for meeting all financial performance targets. Success in the role requires skills in influence, strategic planning, managerial courage, and a sense of urgency towards driving improved distribution results. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Manages multiple facilities (primarily 3PL) in compliance with all Post Consumer Brands’ (PCB) policies and procedures ensuring achievement of key performance indicators. Responsible for facilitating daily management meetings across warehouse network to ensure issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner. Ensure appropriate support provided to warehouse locations for daily operations including oversight of inventory adjustments and system access. Collaborate with Site Managers, Finance, and Director of Warehouse Operations to develop an annual operating budget for each DC and forecasts as needed. Responsible for developing and executing cost savings ideas as well as ensuring accurate monitoring of activities occurs. Performs quarterly business reviews, CHEP audits, reconciliations, and provides weekly updates to appropriate stakeholders Collaborates with Director and Sr. Director of Warehousing, Procurement, and other DC Managers to select 3PL vendors and negotiate contracts Responsible for the Procure to Pay process including purchase order (PO) creation, invoice validation, invoice approval, and PO adjustments Ensure operations are conducted safely and within terms of company policy, contracts, government regulations, and the law. Conduct bi-annual DC audits, document findings and make improvement suggestions. Ensure positive outcomes with subsequent follow-up and future audits. Audited items to include safety, standard work, KPI performance, SQF readiness and other items as required. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education: Four-year degree in Logistics, Business, or related field Experience: 5+ years of managerial experience, ideally within a CPG company Specific experiences in warehousing, transportation, logistics management, or operations preferred Direct experience with warehouse management systems and transportation management systems preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics: Understanding of the relationships between various Supply Chain functions such as transportation, warehousing, customer service, inventory planning and purchasing. Working knowledge of MS Office suite Knowledge of material handling equipment and techniques Understanding of and practical experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma techniques is preferred.
