This critical position will hold responsibility for ensuring the delivery of an excellent customer experience by efficient and accurate handling of products for inbound and outbound Distribution Centre activities. This successful candidate will be responsible for receipting inbound goods against purchase orders, cross referencing and validating all information is correct. They will demonstrate speed, accuracy and computer literacy when managing the outbound process of using both paperwork, PC and mobile devices to pick, pack and dispatch products to customers. They will take ownership and responsibility for their packing area and the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse area on a whole and be a team player. The successful candidate will contribute to part of a high performing and successful team and contribute to a safe and fun working environment. **Essential Functions** • Work closely with a co-supervisor to coordinate team activities, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure that performance targets are consistently met. • Ensure outbound shipments are accurately picked and packed. Print consignment labels and ensure they match the correct details of the destination and shipping contents and have all required documentation and labels • Receive shipments and ensure products are correctly logged into the system. • Match up required documents and Cross reference goods received with goods ordered and Query variations in received stock • Work as part of this team to achieve targets • Ensure all printers are prepared with correct paper/labels/ink • Packing shipments in various sizes and formats to ensure safe transport and delivery. • Communicate with DC team, Interco supply chain and Customer service on relevant order information and urgent requirements. • Use a variety of platforms including carrier websites, Microsoft D365 and Salesforce. • Understand the importance and processes around dangerous goods shipping and demonstrate ability to recognize how to label goods appropriately. • Understands different nation’s packing requirements in regard to seasonal weather and legal requirements. • Work as a team to ensure all orders are shipped within the SLA and contribute towards the successful achievement of targets. • Maintain a safe and tidy work area. • Provide guidance, direction and information to colleagues. • Be a champion Bio-Techne’s ISO9001 (Quality), ISO14001 (Environmental) and Health & Safety responsibilities which form a part of the company’s objectives. • Other ad hoc tasks required for the day-to-day running of the site. **Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:** • Fluent written and spoken English. • Experience of working in a customer focused environment. • Supervisory/management experience **Skills required/desired:** • Ability to demonstrate a passion for customer service. • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills • Previous experience for delivering training and coaching to teams. • Possess excellent IT skills, including experience of working with ERP/CRM platforms. • Qualification and Knowledge of Dangerous Goods by Air (IATA) • Forklift License - counterbalance. • Experience using Microsoft D365, Salesforce and multiple courier shipping platforms. • First Aid • Fire Marshal **Personal Qualities:** • Professional demeanour • Enjoy working as a team to deliver results, learn and share knowledge. • Ability to remain calm under pressure. • Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations. • Flexible attitude to cover work as required. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to tight timelines. • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style • General business skills such as negotiation, strong organizational skills and problem solving.
