Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Clerk to join our team in Lexington, NC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing and coordinating warehouse activities. Your responsibilities will include assigning tasks to warehouse staff, managing workflows within our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and maintaining accurate inventory records. A strong ability to navigate vendor portals and fulfill orders efficiently is essential.

Location: Lexington, NC

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PMFriday: 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Main Responsibilities:

Assign and administer tasks to warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and operational efficiency.Operate and maintain accuracy within a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to monitor inventory levels, order processing, and workflows.Fulfill customer orders accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with quality and quantity standards.Perform inventory adjustments and cycle counts to maintain accuracy and reduce discrepancies.Navigate and operate within various vendor portals to track shipments, process orders, and manage vendor communication.Support day-to-day warehouse administration tasks, including documentation, reporting, and coordinating with other departments.

Work Experience
Prior experience in a warehouse administrative role within a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ability to learn new systems quickly.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.Experience performing inventory management tasks, including adjustments and cycle counts.Familiarity with vendor portals for order processing and shipment tracking.Experience in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments.Knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
