Job Title: Distribution Engineer

Job Description

Develop Construction work packages for electrical distribution systems for overhead (OH), underground (UG), or underground residential distribution (URD) systems. Create work packages using GIS and CAD tools. Perform engineering calculations, including structural analysis of poles, cable pulling, electrical demand, transformer sizing, voltage drop and flicker, and coordination of protective devices. Facilitate permit and right-of-way acquisition, estimate costs, acquire materials for projects, and conduct field investigations.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Hendersonville, Tennessee and some days remote.

Work Environment

Work from home until the NJ office is established. Daily travel to project sites in northern/central NJ to inspect distribution lines. Mileage and toll reimbursement provided.
