Meijer offers an 11-week internship program that challenges interns to deliver innovative solutions to real projects that impact the business. Throughout the course of the internship experience, we deliver diverse personal and professional development opportunities that further develop skillsets that can be implemented both during and after the program. The internship program will allow for interaction with other interns and Meijer senior leaders.

The projects that will be given to the Distribution interns will be focused in supporting the day-to-day business of the Lansing distribution complex. The project will work with team members and leaders in the complex, along with Supply Chain teams in the corporate office including Supply Chain Strategy, Logistics, and Distribution Systems & Engineering. Past internship projects have included product flow data analytics, reporting data, process improvements, and physical infrastructure. This internship will be a well-rounded experience that shows the span and opportunity within Meijer Supply Chain and provides insight to Meijer’s culture and dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The intern may also get exposure to other activities of the function, including:
