About the opportunity

Due to our growth, we have a new position for a Distribution Operations Account Manager, to support our wider Distribution team, network, and our channel partners for continued success.

In the role, you will use your exceptional analytical skills and ability manage forecasts, anticipate trends, and mitigate risks to achieve a healthy balance of inventory to deliver the region’s ambitious growth targets. 

To be successful, you will develop and establish strong relationships with our internal APAC supply chain teams as well as our valued distribution partners to work together to achieve win-win outcomes.

You will also work collaboratively with the local distribution team, APAC region, and HQ in Sweden, on strategic operational initiates to improve tools and processes in order to work more efficiently and improve our service delivery.

The ideal candidate is self-driven and energetic team player, with exceptional ability to develop and maintain important relationships with our partners.

This position can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney, and will have some domestic and international travel.

Key responsibilities

Establish and maintain strong relationships within the established distributor network.Work closely with the Axis distribution team to have a holistic view and effective channel inventory level for Oceania region.Collaborate with the distributor procurement and sales team to forecast to minimize stockouts and prevent overstock.Conduct regular distributor meeting, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing effective inventory control measures.Apply use of systematic reporting tools and reports to analyse inventory status.Drive healthy strategic alignment and increased transparency to strengthen supply chain and operations management with distribution partner.Drive strategic operational initiatives with distribution partner together with Distribution account team.Collaborate with Operations, Supply and Demand Planning to establish and/or maintain processes to develop strategic product forecasts with distributors partners.Act as an ambassador for digital transformation initiatives with distribution partners.

Qualifications and experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Commercial relatedStrong working knowledge in area of relevance with minimum 5 years working experiencePreferably with prior sales experience Experience from partnering with businesses on a global level with cultural awareness. Experience working within a sales organisation or tech industry will be an advantage
