Shift: 1st shift 7AM- 3:30 PM




Purpose of Role: Under the supervision of the Distribution Manager, the Shipping Distribution Person is responsible for performing various duties connected with the shipment of finished product using sound packaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Load/unload trucks, inside and outside, using pallet jacks, powered industrial trucks or overhead jib cranes, in a manner preventing damage and in compliance with good safety practices 

Prepares customer orders for shipment by verifying items against the customer order, adequately packing and labeling packages.

Accurately perform all paperwork/data entry functions associated with shipping

Properly prepare product being shipped, whether packaged in box, on a skid, or in a crate based on size, bulk, and quantity, keeping in mind safety, weight, size, potential damage and customer domestic/export requirements

Attend department, employee, safety and training meetings as required

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
