Distribution Planner
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Distribution Planner to join our Transportation team here at Pilgrim’s in Greeley, CO! This person will be responsible for processing all shipping and receiving transactions between our production plants and our external distribution network. This person plays a key role in the success of our business and is a pivotal part of our supply chain team.
Responsibilities:
+ Plans product distribution by item to cold storages based off demand, optimization, and rotation
+ Review daily shortage reports to ensure customer demand is covered
+ Provide plants with daily product distribution plans
+ Create stock transfers to maintain safety stock levels at our external distribution centers across the US
+ Partners with other internal departments and distribution centers to ensure the timely and precise movement of our stock transfers and sales orders
+ Process all shipping and receiving transactions between our production plants and our external distribution network
+ Maintains real time inventory accuracy and traceability between SAP and third-party WMS systems
+ Invoices external warehouses for damage claims and cycle count adjustments
Qualifications:
+ 2 years of Inventory Control or Distribution Planning experience preferred
+ College Degree in Supply Chain, Business or similar field is preferred
+ Experience with MS Office Suite - Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Intermediate excel skills
+ SAP experience preferred
+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Strong organizational skills
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
+ Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
+ Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
+ 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
+ Base salary range of $55,000-$57,000
+ Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
