Job Title: Design Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Distribution Planner to support our growing portfolio of distribution work. This role involves conducting design, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems. You will work closely with Tier 1 Utilities and contribute to new phases of significant projects. Responsibilities + Conduct design, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems. + Support distribution projects for major utilities. + Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment. + Communicate effectively with various audiences. Essential Skills + Minimum 2 years of design experience within electrical-design oriented software (AutoCAD) OR entry level EE graduate. + Experience in electrical design, utility design, substation design, protection and control, and physical substation design. + Background in CAD or GIS. + Strong knowledge of utility engineering and power distribution. + Effective verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 1-2 years of experience in the engineering space, including civil, structural, distribution physical substation, or electrical utility design, OR Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. Work Environment This position offers a remote work environment, with one day in office in Hopedale, MA. *Weekly pay, PTO & paid holidays, full benefits package, etc.!
