Our client is seeking a Sr. Distribution Engineer who is looking to move into a Distribution Project Manager capacity

Description:

We are currently seeking a Distribution engineer with 5-10 years of experience and leadership/mentorship experienceCandidates must be PEThis person could sit in the downtown Denver or Englewood officeUpon hiring, this person will need to be in the office as much as possible, eventually moving to 2-3 days in the office

Responsibilities:

Managing and leading distribution projects throughout the entire project life cycle, including scope and/or proposal development, project team development and assignment, project execution, project closeout, quality control, schedule, and budget managementWorking independently and/or directing, mentoring, training, and/or supervising one or more Project Engineers, EITs, Designers, CADD Technicians, and administrative staffInteracting with utility and developer clientsLeading the QA/QC process on projects per Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements with a commitment to delivering world-class qualityBuilding, developing, and supervising a local distribution team and providing oversight over workload, quality, utilization, team morale, training, and performing annual performance and compensation reviews of team membersPerforming client management, project management, staff supervision, and/or technical support activitiesSupporting and engaging in broader business development activities with existing and target national clients

Qualifications:

PE license in applicable engineering field5-10 years of engineering distribution experienceExcellent client management skills, marketing, and business development skills in addition to contacts/relationships with power delivery clientsPrevious experience leading projects, mentoring and training other engineersTrack record of working cooperatively with diverse teams, regional, department, technical managers and project staffExperience with data center and renewables projectsExperience providing estimated costs, development of a BOMExperience with electrical and planning analysis software i.e. CYM, ETAP or MilsoftExperience with design tools for pole loading analysis: i.e. PLS-CADD, O-calc, SpidaCalc or Pole ForemanExperience using Cad software packages for Electrical Distribution Example, PLS-CADD, MicroStation/AutoCAD/ArcGISExperience with New Business Designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projectsExperience with reliability, grid modernization, and conversion projects

Work Environment:
