Distribution Specialist
FUNCTION: Performs a variety of tasks associated with the processing, packaging, and distributing of payrolls for clients. Assists in ensuring that Bangor Payroll and its customers are in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Prints Client Payroll Checks and Reports:

Prints payrolls off the queueFills printer with report paper and check paperChanges printing cartridges as neededSelects payrolls on computer to be sent to printerTrouble shoots printer for paper jams, etc.

Sorts:

Separates checks and reportsMatches checks to reports and puts with company folderSeparates according to established delivery method

Seals and Packages:

Follows delivery instructionsAccounts for correct number of checks for each clientOperates check sealing machineClears jams in check sealer

Distributes:

Prepares labels for packaged payrollsRecords and places packaged payrolls in appropriate location for client specific delivery serviceAccounts for correct number of packages in each delivery method

Customer Experience:

Handles customer questions and service issues politely and efficientlyFollows appropriate procedures to solve customer problemsUnderstands company products and servicesPhones, faxes, or emails customers with debit amountsTracks online or calls to determine reasons for late deliveryResponsible for delivery of misplaced or misdirected payrolls

Compliance and Control:

Assists in ensuring that the Bank is in compliance with local, state and federal regulations

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent customer service skills required Demonstrated relevant computer literacyMicrosoft Word, Excel and Outlook proficiencyAbility to work with little supervisionGood communications skills, verbal and written required Attention to detail, emphasis on accuracy

Physical Demands/Conditions Requirements:

General office environmentModerate lifting (to 35 lbs.) required.  Moderate reaching, walking, sitting and standing required
