Distribution Utility - 2nd shift, $21.20hr

Position Summary:  

Responsible for accurately transferring inventory into defined pick locations throughout the facility, and also picking and processing mass retail orders

Duties and Responsibilities:

Follows all Standard Work including Safety Standards.Assists in maintaining healthy shelf inventory by stocking parts from the PND locations, ordering parts, minimizing held orders, and managing overstock.Make the inventory in active locations as “pick ready” as possible.Picking mass retail module orders.Responsible for daily 6S activities, such as stocking picking supplies, removing waste and recyclables, housekeeping, and maintaining an organized and safe work area throughout the pick zones.Accurately picking/packing the correct quantity of parts/items needed per order and placing them in the correct container.Inspect and safely operate a Walkie Rider, Walkie Stacker, and Tugger vehicles according to checklist.Perform on-the-job training as needed.Correctly track parts using RF gun.Cross train in all Distribution areas/departments.Assist any areas within Distribution where the equipment may be required.Other duties as assigned.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to operate or be trained to operate a Walkie Rider, Stacker, and TuggerAbility to safely operate and maintain Walkie Rider, Stacker, and Tugger through daily inspections.Ability to verify quality of product.Ability to use an RF gun.Ability to lift 40 pounds consistently. Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist for 8-10 hours a day.Basic math skills.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization.Ability to work, contribute and succeed in a team environment.

Experience/Educational Requirements:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licenses or Certifications:

Will need to be Certified on the Walkie Rider, Stacker and Tugger

Work Environment:

Must be able to work in a factory environment.
