What You’ll do
As a District Loss Prevention Supervisor, you will be responsible for assuring compliance with safety, security and receiving guidelines and policies relative to loss prevention for 15-24 stores.
Conduct internal audits and investigations.Work with local law enforcement and courts.Reviews security video footage and works in partnership with the security team at the office.Teach and train the store associates and management on inventory control and diligent research, proper security tagging, and customer service as a loss prevention tool.Oversee inventory, inventory prep-work and post work.Follow up on cash control.Analyze and react to the company reports that are sent daily, weekly, and monthly.Expected to work 45+ hours per week and may require travel 3-5 nights per weekAct as a trusted internal partner across departments to collaborate on initiatives projecting positive business outcomes. Lead associates in a way that exemplifies the leadership principles taught in Rural King’s Thrive Leadership Program. Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments. Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively. Essential Qualities for SuccessAt least 2 years of loss prevention retail experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Strong understanding of retail business practices.Proven experience in effectively supervising and leading a diverse team, guiding them toward achieving department goals and objectives. Proficiency in adapting communication style and tone to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and at different levels within the organization. Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and address challenges that may arise in relationships.Experience in working with complex data or documents, carefully examining details, and verifying information for completeness or correctness. Effectively articulate expectations, requirements, and boundaries while actively listing to other’s perspectives. Experience in managing multiple tasks and maintain a proactive and results-driven approach.Ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources efficiently. Ability to remain composed and focused during high-pressure situations, ensuring quality and timely outcomes. Physical Requirements Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.Ability to navigate and access all facilities.Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.Close vision for computer-related activities.
