District Manager, Automotive Service

Southern California

Reports to Market Leader

Compensation: $100K-185K Total Comp (Base of $100-120K)

Requires 5+ years multi-unit district management experience in the automotive industry

 

 Overview: Our purpose is to provide an extraordinary experience for our customers from minor maintenance services to extensive repairs. We’re providing a dealership experience using superior tools and equipment with top-quality automotive components all performed by professional automotive technicians. Our expertise and customer focus are what make us the authority in automotive care.

 

Our District Manager supervises and oversees the operations of retail repair shops within a certain region. Their main duties include hiring and training store managers, collaborating with managers to set goals for each store and communicating and enforcing customer policies to managers and team members. Ensuring quality consistency across the district and increasing sales and profitability in their area.

 

Location: Southern California - field position, traveling between approximately 10 locations

Reaching financial objectivesAssigning workloadsAdhering to company policies and local, state and federal lawsTraining team membersAddressing performance issues that affect profits in order of priorityCoaching other managersResolving customer concerns using excellent customer service skillsDeveloping business strategies for revenue growth Inventory control

 

Qualifications:

Five or more years of experience in multi-unit district managementAuto repair shop management position or equivalent business experience in the automotive industryPrevious experience in managing and coaching team members to success through effective communication; business development and strategy implementation knowledgeProblem-solving using analytical, creative, and critical-thinking skillsProven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goalsProven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goalsFlexibility to adapt to changes in business operationsPrevious experience as an Automotive Technician or similar position preferred, but not requiredPossess valid Minnesota driver’s licenseAbility to work a minimum of five days, Monday-Friday
