Qualifications
Your Skills You probably have a High School diploma or equivalent and maybe even a great combination of some college credits and great experience. Either will do! We’d like to see at least one year of retail experience, preferably in a convenience store setting. We’re also going to look closely at your ability to communicate and align with our company values. You should have open schedule availability and flexibility, since the District is relying on you to help when stores need it most! One last note, you’ll need reliable transportation and valid current auto insurance.

Your Role This role reports to our District Manager and you’re a key player in the district, performing customer service, operational, and leadership relief work across all stores! In this role you’ll find a wide variety of tasks, stores, and team members to help, and gain exposure to all store customer bases in the district. You may be assigned to work at one store for a period of time, or you may change stores each day, depending on the staffing needs and operational requirements of the district, so be prepared for lots of variety!
In this role you may find yourself helping at one store in a Customer Service role, or filling in for a leader on vacation in another. This includes conducting retail sales, stocking, cleaning and all the other things that go with frontline retail service. The role can also include leadership and operational tasks such as product ordering, POS reporting, banking, and being a positive role model for the store team.
Yes, you’ll probably be in stores on different shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. You’ll also need to travel between stores in the districts, and our district stores are generally located within a 40 to 60 mile radius. We suggest looking at it this way, this is a great way to step-up your career and gain maximum experience with our operation! It’s also a great development opportunity if you’re considering a leadership career, but aren’t sure yet. In this role, you get to see how it all works!
