District Sales Manager - Designate
Overview District Sales Manager - Designate Responsibilities Comprehensive Onboarding: Successfully complete all activities included in our robust Sales District Leader Designate onboarding program. Customer Relationship Building: Develop, build, and maintain positive relationships with store management, growing sales and executing sales programs and initiatives. Leadership and Strategy: Lead district meetings to create and implement plans that achieve sales objectives and goals. Individual Development: Conduct one-on-one meetings with route sales reps to discuss performance, selling, and customer service skills, fostering their growth. Team Coaching: Mentor your team to capitalize on baseline and promotional sales opportunities successfully. Data-Driven Strategy: Develop innovative sales strategies by analyzing and interpreting statistical data using PepsiCo-specific applications. Collaborative Forecasting: Partner with the product supply team to create accurate forecasts based on promotions and historical performance, ensuring product availability. Engaging Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to customers as needed. Flexible Scheduling: Embrace a flexible work schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays to meet business needs. Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience leading a team of frontline employees. Industry Experience: Consumer packaged goods experience in a Direct Store Delivery environment preferred. Self-Motivation and Communication: Ability to motivate yourself and others while demonstrating excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow-up skills. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Driving Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license and meet DOT & Fleet qualifications. A safe driving record is strongly preferred.
