As a District Sales Manager Designate for Frito Lay you will complete a 6+ month onboarding program to assimilate and develop the necessary skillset to successfully promote into the District Sales Leader position. During your onboarding we will provide you with 4-6 months of route level training to learn the foundation of the business and develop an understanding of our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) network and supply chain, while teaching you the role of the frontline route sales reps you will eventually lead. Upon completion of the designate training program, you will promote to a District Sales Leader assuming responsibility for all aspects of running a sales district; leading 10-15 Route Sales Representatives (RSR’s) while leading a $5-15 Million dollar business. Your strong leadership skills, interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly changing work environment is vital to your success in this role. *Learn more about the role here:https://rise.articulate.com/share/6xKSMvchqPviABhL_l8vrtsgGiRs4odR#/ Responsibilities Major Tasks, Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities: Comprehensive Onboarding: Successfully complete all activities included in our robust Sales District Leader Designate onboarding program. Customer Relationship Building: Develop, build, and maintain positive relationships with store management, growing sales and executing sales programs and initiatives. Leadership and Strategy: Lead district meetings to create and implement plans that achieve sales objectives and goals. Individual Development: Conduct one-on-one meetings with route sales reps to discuss performance, selling, and customer service skills, fostering their growth. Team Coaching: Mentor your team to capitalize on baseline and promotional sales opportunities successfully. Data-Driven Strategy: Develop innovative sales strategies by analyzing and interpreting statistical data using PepsiCo-specific applications. Collaborative Forecasting: Partner with the product supply team to create accurate forecasts based on promotions and historical performance, ensuring product availability. Engaging Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to customers as needed. Flexible Scheduling: Embrace a flexible work schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays to meet business needs. Total Rewards: The salary range is $55,800 - $87,000 based on various factors. The Sales District Leader role is eligible for mileage reimbursement based on the PepsiCo Travel and Expense Policy. After successful completion of your training, the Designate will be promoted to the Sales District Leader level and become bonus eligible at a 15% target bonus. The promotion to the next level may result in a salary increase within compensation guidelines. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required. Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience leading a team of frontline employees. Industry Experience: Consumer packaged goods experience in a Direct Store Delivery environment preferred. Self-Motivation and Communication: Ability to motivate yourself and others while demonstrating excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow-up skills. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Driving Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license and meet DOT & Fleet qualifications. A safe driving record is strongly preferred.
