Wise Snacks is seeking a District Sales Manager in the Goldsboro, NC area. The primary purpose of this role is to develop a sales force consisting of independent operators and company employees, to ensure execution in all categories of their assigned territories in accordance to Wise standards and performance expectations as well as ensuring growth of territory profitability. Achieve growth in sales and communication between the company and the distributors. The role of District Sales Manager is a KEY role in DSD. The manager is a liaison between our company, our account managers our IO's, our RSR's and our customers. Responsible for motivating and advising our Independent Operators and RSR teams to improve performance, as well as training them to execute the company's objectives and commitments within their territory. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Develop sales force: + Search for any opportunities for incremental space and or display placements. Teach the proper use and importance of POS. Establishing a set service schedule to avoid out of stocks and maintain a healthy variety. + Hold monthly Sales meetings to review any upcoming sales incentives, new item programs and have an open forum to discuss any unseen issues or opportunities. + New items and seasonal item execution accordingly to the promotion schedule. + Ensure planogram compliance + Sell and set up racks and or cardboard displays + Maximize the use of space to increase sales + Ensure promotion is in ad and execute + Ensure servicing the stores accordingly to their sales to eliminate out of stock + Conduct in market service audits + Ensure growth in a profitable way / Customer Development: + Ensure all routes are viable enough to be sustainable and profitable. Utilize RTM to assist in better and more frequent regular service enabling routes to grow. + Work with IOs to identify new opportunities within their routes to include new and existing + Research and identify alternate sales channels that may exist on their routes. + Measure route, store and individual product sales. + Develop programs to increase overall route sales performance. + Review results of promotions and sales programs. + Communication: + Meet with all sales force on a regular basis to communicate expectations, growth potential ideas, and all or any quickly approaching opportunities. + Communicate on Time: promotions, new launches and sales incentives + Inventory / Warehouse: + To maintain certain inventory levels to fulfill all levels of sales. + Teaching proper techniques of rotation in truck and Warehouse. + Inventory control maintaining correct dollars per Warehouse QUALIFICATIONS Education: HS degree required, Bachelor's degree Marketing, Business Administration preferred Experience: 2 years' experience in Sales/Route Sales, 2 years Sales Management experience, 3+ years' management experience in grocery/retail management.
