DISTRICT SALES MANAGER - OFFROAD (SOUTHERN MINNESOTA & IOWA)
\nWe are looking for a District Sales Manager who will report to the Regional Sales Manager, and who’ll be tasked with managing a group of dealers to deliver CanAm Offroad product line growth through successful wholesale. As part of your role, you’ll be influencing dealer retail activities through in-store unit best practices in ways that also contribute to dealer loyalty. You’ll be at the forefront of driving growth at BRP.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
\n\n\nCultivate dealer partnerships by serving as a business partner to support dealers’ long-term success. Maintain regular dealership visits and function as their primary liaison for wholesale orders.
\n\n\nResearch and analyze dealer performance and market potential by utilizing available reporting and tools. Develop strategic sales plans to deliver district retail and market share targets.
\n\n\nDeliver retail and wholesale objectives: mobilize dealers to engage in programs while providing go-to-market updates and market insights. Influence dealers to adopt BRP best practices around inventory management, sales process, retail environment, merchandising and product training. Empower, develop and inspire dealership teams to drive retail results by delivering an elevated retail customer experience.
\n\n\nActively participate in dealer marketing and collaborate with dealers on retail activation initiatives to optimize retail opportunities. Support dealers with product trainings and regularly attend demo events, open houses, trade shows and community initiatives.
\n\n\nTrack and document dealer contact activity in SalesForce. Deliver district operational excellence while adhering to budgets and effective time management. Complete expense reports, maintain mileage reporting and ensure compliance with BRP’s policies.
\n\n\nYOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
\nRequired:
\n\n\n5 plus years of relevant sales experience
\n\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to have difficult business conversations
\n\n\nStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments.
\n\n\nInitiative and drive: demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas
\n\n\nPassion and enthusiasm for the powersports industry and outdoor recreational products
\n\n\nBusiness acumen: analytical skills, understanding of profit centers and the ability to recognize improvement opportunities
\n\n\nThis position is managing a group of Offroad dealers within Southern Minnesota and Iowa. Residence within the assigned district is an essential condition of employment for this role.
\n\n\nTravel required is 80%
\n\n\nPreferred:
\n\n\nBachelor's degree or MBA in a relevant field (marketing, business administration, sales, finance)
\n\n\nPowersports, marine or automotive industry experience
\n\n\nDealership sales experience
\n\n\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and problem-solve
\n\n\nAdditional details:
