Pay
Salaried grade 8
$77,987. - $88,998 / year, depending on experience and qualifications. Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 40+ hours (start the day early, often prior to sunrise)

Job Summary
Join McKee Foods as a District Sales Representative and drive sales growth in your assigned district. Collaborate with independent wholesale distributors and retailers, foster relationships, and identify lucrative sales opportunities. Be the face of McKee Foods, motivating and supporting wholesale distributors, and ensuring the success of our products in the marketplace.
Responsibilities
Foster sales growth through collaboration with independent wholesale independent distributors and retailersCultivate strong business relationships with distributors and retailersAct as a liaison between McKee Foods, wholesale independent distributors, and retailersMotivate existing wholesalers to expand salesRecruit and appoint competent candidates to distributorshipsProvide orientation for new distributors and communicate best business practicesManage and develop a company sales territory as necessaryEnsure daily operation and maintenance of a company vehicleAdhere to established business conduct practicesMaintain regular communication with supervisionComplete reports and assignments in a timely mannerServe as a professional representative of McKee Foods in the marketplaceRequired Qualifications
Minimum of one to two years of post-high school education or equivalent experienceThree years of retail management or sales experiencePrevious customer service experience across diverse situationsCapable of lifting and moving up to 25 poundsAbility to draw conclusions from data, prepare and deliver sales presentationsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExperience in establishing strong business relationshipsHigh level of initiative, self-motivation and independence with a goal-oriented mindsetExcellent communication skillsProficiency in MS Office applications and mobile technologyWillingness to travel extensively within or outside of the assigned districtAbility to operate a box truck weighing more than 10,000 pounds when neededValid driver's license and clean driving recordHigh level of personal integrity and professionalismPreferred Qualifications
College degree in a business-related fieldThree years of sales experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) and/or Direct Store Delivery (DSD) industryProven experience in making sales calls with retailers (store level and headquarters)Ability to complete a DOT physical examinationBenefits
