**Description** SAIC is seeking a **District** **Systems Administrator** in Seattle, WA **to support the US Army Corps of Engineers on the Revolutionary IT Services (USACE RITS).** Provides second-tier support to end-users for Active Directory accounts, Exchange mailboxes, security and distribution groups, Windows servers, and file/data permissions on networked storage. Addresses issues and vulnerabilities with Windows servers as detected by enterprise monitoring systems. May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem. **NOTE: Must be willing to travel when necessary and willing to work Monday through Friday; 8-hour shift between 6AM and 6PM local time; after hours support may be required on an infrequent basis** **JOB DESCRIPTION:** + Primary POC for local server, network and telecom repair of District infrastructure components + Manage and maintain currently supported and subsequent Microsoft (MS) Windows Server Operating Systems (OS) on physical and virtual operating environments + Assist with hardware and software technology refreshes, ensuring milestone compliance while coordinating with application owners to minimize disruptions + Demonstrate day-to-day adherence with change management precepts and practices and is responsible for writing Change Requests and seeking approval + Assist in storage and data management, specifically file and folder permissions + Apply DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency) STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guide) and resolve security vulnerabilities + Work ServiceNow incidents and requests and provide initial triage of complex tickets **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience:** + Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience; four (4) additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree **Required Skills:** + Must be willing to travel when necessary + Must be willing to work Monday through Friday; 8-hour shift between 6AM and 6PM local time; after hours support may be required on an infrequent basis + Experience using ServiceNow, Remedy or a similar ticketing system. + Experience managing standing up and troubleshooting Windows Server Operating Systems in virtual and physical environments (i.e. VMware or HyperVisor) + Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory networks and associated services (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Distributed File System, etc.) + Experience working with file and data permissions on network-hosted file shares and storage (i.e. NetApp, New Technology File System (NTFS), etc.) + Must have basic understanding of Microsoft Exchange mailboxes **Required Certifications:** + Must have a current DoD 8570 IA Baseline Certification, IAT Level II (example: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CYSA+, ect) **Required Clearance:** + Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain + Must be a current US Citizen Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000.
