Job Description:

The Diversified Energy Intern is responsible for supporting the Diversified Energy Team as they identify and execute new opportunities in the transportation energy sector. This role will collaborate internally to identify, define, and resolve a variety of complex business problems and to support various diversification initiatives. The Intern will support the execution and evolution of the electric vehicle (EV) charging experience at RaceTrac stores. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to support other alternative energy strategies by researching and developing a business case across multiple energy fields, including electric vehicle charging, renewable energy, energy storage, hydrogen, and biofuels. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Conducts analysis to support the development of site-by-site business cases for EV charging. Supplement the reporting of the EV charging business through the development of Power BI dashboards Assist in project management for the development of EV charging sites while working cross functionally between multiple departments within RaceTrac to ensure the success of those sites.  Assist in gathering customer feedback about the EV charging program and suggesting improvements for the guest experience.  Analyze key trends and data in deregulated electricity markets to support growth of Metroplex’s Retail Electricity Provider business line Support the research and development of new diversification opportunities in the alternative energy space.

Qualifications:

Current enrollment in a college or university with a major that aligns with the departmentKnowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Office)Preferred GPA 3.0 or higherPrevious internship experience preferred
