Position Summary
Reporting to the AVP, HR and Organizational Development & Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, the DEI Manager will be responsible for the creation, administration, organization and successful execution of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives. the DEI Manager will develop initiatives, policies, strategies, programs/events, processes, and partnerships intended to cultivate a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization for our employees, patients, and community partners. This is a highly collaborative position that requires partnership with the Marketing team, DEI council, consultants, HR leadership, business stakeholders, and Employee Resource Group leads to ensure that DEI programming and initiatives support the needs of the business.

In partnership with the Chief DEI Officer, manage all diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization, and partner with various stakeholders to further DEI efforts Responsible for the creation, administration, organization and successful execution of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion projects and deliverables Serve as a project manager for DEI and the various action committees regarding due items; assuring all active items and projects meet deadlines Compile and report statistics, metrics, and data to assess and communicate the progress and effectiveness of the organization’s diversity initiatives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis Collaborate with Chief DEI Officer to drive the end-to-end design and implementation of new initiatives that amplify WPH DEI action plans, to include enhancing diversity awareness and the representation of diverse talent at all levels of the organization Provide administration and coordination of various internal and external DEI programs, events, and initiatives, including scheduling, booking rooms, arranging catering, and room setup Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with various stakeholder team members to ensure high quality delivery of impactful events and programs Manage the DEI internal/external website; this includes curating content, partnering with the key stakeholders to ensure the content is aligned with the organization's practices and policies. Create and implement DEI communications, campaigns, and support events, including heritage and cultural education and celebrations, throughout the year As assigned, work on special projects and initiatives in a variety of areas focused including employee retention, engagement, health equity and reducing health disparities, community engagement and DEI regulatory compliance efforts
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business management, Business Administration, Human Resources (or related field) is required Relevant experience in DEI program management or related roles, with a track record of developing and implementing successful DEI and employee engagement initiatives At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in sophisticated project management, preferably with a focus on human-centered projects. Relevant program and project management experience Strong understanding of DEI principles, practices, and legal requirements
