GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Analyst position is responsible for pricing and risk strategies; focusing on bringing data-driven decisions to life. In addition, position is responsible for building out testing strategies, valuation structures and creating ecosystems that will monitor and react to the various KPIs and risks. The analysts will work across the organization with other key team members to bring strategies to life through partnerships with  senior leadership.

Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build valuation models to launch new product and pricing strategies for Solar & Home Improvement lending productsDrive step-change improvements in credit performance by analyzing historical loan data, develop risk scorecards and testing hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysisDevelop the ecosystem that delicately and proactively manages the risk between the installer/contractors and consumersAs a key member of the Risk & Strategy organization, work closely with Technology, PMO, Operations and FinOps teams to scope operational feasibility, lead implementation efforts and launch MVP iterating quickly as we get more learnings and market feedbackConduct ad-hoc deep-dive analyses for senior leadership to drive strategic business decisionsSupport existing Solar product through improved valuations methodologiesDevelop next generation of Home Improvement offerings through both product, pricing, and strategic levels

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelor's or Masters in STEM or Economic background with a focus on hypothesis and data driven solutionsHighly proficient in SAS/R/Python and SQL along with advanced MS Excel skills, pivot table, etc. preferably include VB/macro writing.Ability to manipulate large datasets. Strong understanding of A/B Test and Control methodologiesAbility to communicate complex ideas as simple, easy to understand concepts; ability to present effectively to both business and technical audiences at all levels of the organizationAbility to effectively manage multiple tasks with challenging deadlines and prioritiesBuild partnerships, collaborate, and influence at senior levels and across the businessTeam player, ability to take calculated business risks and deal with setbacks/failures with equanimityIntellectually curious yet pragmatic
