We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Actsto support Division needs in the quality and patient safety space.Actively collaborateswiththeVice President of Quality and Compliance and Chief Medical Officerand larger teamforthe Capital Divisionto assurestandard practicesacrossallhospitals.Leads cross campus quality activitiesasdirected, andexpandsoversightin absence ofVP. Roleis directlyinvolved inactivities thatforwardthedivisionmeeting orexceedingorganizationalqualitygoals (process measures, outcomes, efficiency, service). As needed, supportsmembers of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, tobestsupport successful execution of performance improvement plans.Focuses onprofessionalgrowth and developmentofhighlyengaged Qualityand Complianceteam tomaximizeorganizationalcontributions. In collaboration withinterdisciplinaryhospitalandphysicianleadershipandstaff,coordinates (plans, implements,and monitors) a comprehensive, effectiveperformance improvement program.Mentorscolleaguesregardingusefulperformance improvement and/or processchange strategies. Facilitatesinterdisciplinaryperformance improvementinitiatives using appropriate techniques and tools to evaluateand improve effectiveness ofdivision andhospital care deliverysystems. Acts as a catalyst to implementand sustainchange(s) for improvement. Champions continual improvement, adjusting goals toremaincompetitive in comparison tolocal and national performance. Fosterscultureofsafety andcontinuous quality improvement actingas a resource fordivision, hospitaland physicianleadershipand staff.Encourages involvement in problem identification and resolution.Supportstransparencycongruentwith peer review and Patient Safety Organization,including participation in disclosure of hospital events. Continually updates andshares knowledge ofevolving healthcarequalityenvironment including pay for performance programsand associatedbestpractices.Strong verbal and writtencommunication using multiple formats.Abstracts, formats, and communicatesdata from internal and externalsources to a variety of audiences.Demonstratesin-depth data analysis, processevaluationandredesign,andvalidmeasuresof success. Partners withdivision,hospitaland physicianleadership and staff toremainsurvey ready,based onstandards andguidelines defined bystate and nationalaccreditationand regulatoryagencies. Adept in authoring and executing acceptableprojectand/or action plans.Identifies[certification, quality award, database participation] opportunities to highlight hospitalsignature services in positive manner.
